The Children's Museum of Winston-Salem will have a table of information and a health-related supervised activity designed especially for school-age children.
Ailing teddy bears and other much-loved toys can get first aid and TLC from physicians from Forsyth Medical Group during the Healthy Living Expo's Teddy Bear Clinic on Saturday, March 3. Bears will also be available for adoption, too. Along with each adopted bear, the doctors will talk to the owners about proper Bear Care by asking the children to promise to take good care of their bear and to make sure the bear wears a bicycle helmet, gets plenty of exercise and eats a healthy diet containing fruits and vegetables. |
