Healthy Heart Walk and Contest
The Walk Registration is now closed. But don’t worry, you still can participate in this year’s Healthy Heart Walk. Just sign in at the front desk and walk the mile!
Congratulations to the 255 participants of this year’s One-Mile Healthy Heart Walk.
Two of you will be able to win 2 Season tickets to Wake Forest Football 2009 at BB&T Field in Winston-Salem or 7 home games (2 tickets for each game). Just show up at this year’s Healthy Living Exposition, be sure to check in at the front desk to make sure your name is on the list, walk your mile and you may become our contest winner.

Wanda Urbanska
Wanda Urbanska is an expert on sustainability and green living. The author or co-author of seven books including the forthcoming anthology, Less Is More, she is the host/producer of Simple Living with Wanda Urbanska, which airs on UNC-TV Sunday evenings at 6:30 p.m.
David D. Daggett
Every day at 5AM David Daggett is up and running literally! He is a serious triathlete who has completed more than 145 Triathlons, including 17 Ironman Triathlon competitions.

In 1963 Congress designated February as American Heart Month? You can get involved in the battle against heart disease by leading a healthy lifestyle. Get involved with fitness, eat more fruits and vegetables and talk to your health care provider for more information.
People in the United States sleep one and a half hours less than they use to? On average many Americans get seven hours of sleep or less, which is less than a century ago. Studies show that by getting a full eight hours of sleep a night, adults wake up refreshed, have less irritability and can concentrate easily.
